What does OpenClaw actually do?

It is a self-hosted AI agent that handles recurring tasks on your behalf. What it can do depends on the model and the tools you give it.

Do I need my own API keys?

No. You can add your own model API keys, or use Green Commerce AI with credits from your balance, through third-party AI services, with no keys to manage. Either way the instance cannot do model work until one of the two is set.

Are backups included?

No. App backups are not part of the plan. A daily backup is available as a paid add-on in the dashboard.

It says Beta. What does that mean here?

It means the product is live and paid for, but still moving. Features and pricing can change before general availability, and we will tell you before they do.

Can I reset the instance?

Yes, from the dashboard. A reset wipes the named volumes, so treat it as destructive and export anything you want to keep first.
