Astro and Next.js starters are maintained as public git repositories, and static sites deploy as-is. Server-rendered Next.js runs in standalone mode on our infrastructure.
Where do my environment variables live?
In the dashboard, encrypted at rest. Values flagged as secret are write-only — you can replace one, but it is never sent back to the browser.
Do I get a domain?
Every site gets a grncommerce.com subdomain immediately, and you can attach a custom domain with automatic TLS once DNS points at us.
Is this the same as cPanel hosting?
No. cPanel hosting is a managed account with a control panel; Git Deploy builds from source and serves the output. They can coexist on the same Green Commerce account.
